What Do You Think Of This Unofficial Religious Experiment?
Q. the results of an unofficial experiment suggested that it is easier to convert people from one religion to another than it is to get them to open up to the idea that no god exists. The conductor of said experiment made up a fictitious god on the spot called Xavii, he spoke to Christians, Muslims, and atheist and preached of Xavii. Xavii, he claimed was a god of peace and love, he did not make a hell to torture people for all eternity, instead he just made separate heavens were like people would go. Many religious fanatics outright rejected his claims and said that Jesus or Allah was the one true god, even going as far as claiming that Xavii was the devil. Yet, some people were actually touched. One lady claimed she had a dream were Xavii… [cont.]

How to convert an atheist?
Q. Theists, what do you think of this video? In case you don't wanna watch it, he says that any of the following would convince many atheists that your religion was true: -Verified prophecies that could not have been contrived (no points are awarded if the prophecy is vague, trivial, contrived for other reasons, self-fulfilling, a postdiction, or the lone success among many failures) -Scientific knowledge in holy books that was not available at the time (especially something counter-intuitive like the theory of relativity or quantum mechanics) -Miraculous occurrences especially if brought about through prayer (no points are given for the citing butterflies, a baby's smile, or the complexity of the human eye - all of these things have natural… [cont.]

He said twenty threes the six...could that have been postdicted? HEEELP i wanna know if hes fake im scared about Mabus and WWIII

A. Nostradamus wrote his prophecies in open-ended quatrains collected into centuries (groups of 100). These four line poems were in French and even without the inaccuracies that are inherent to translating from one language to another the quatrains themselves are vague enough that they make very little sense. It is easy to read anything you want into nonsense. It is sort of like staring at clouds. The clouds will look like whatever your imagination can come up with. The quatrain that supposedly predicts the rise of Hitler is the 24th quatrain of the 2nd century. For reference I give you the original French and a direct English translation. Betes farouches de faim fleuves tranner; Plus part du champ encontre Hister sera, En cage de fer le… [cont.]
